Each extended release tablet contains Etodolac 600 mg.

Etodolac is a Non Steroidal Anti Inflammatory shows high anti-inflammatory effect with high selectivity on cox-2 and high safety profile on Gastro intestinal tract and Kidney

Non Steroidal Anti Inflammatory (NSAIDs) are used for the management of pain, and inflammation. It work by reducing the levels of prostaglandins, which are chemicals that are responsible for pain and tenderness that occur with inflammation.
Etodolac is a Non Steroidal Anti Inflammatory (NSAID) (selective cox-2 inhibitor), That lowers concentrations of prostaglandins. Exhibitiny marked anti inflammatory & analgesic effect .
Being a selective COX-2 inhibitor, Etodolac has an added safety benefit; it is less likely to cause stomach problems such as ulcers and bleeding.
As being extended release it has long lasting action (once daily)
 
Indications: For acute and long term use in the management of the following
• Osteoarthritis
• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Painful inflammatory conditions
